It depends on the method. Tape-ins and wefts are corrected roughly every 6–8 weeks, bonds and rings every 2–3 months. Good-quality hair, cared for properly, can be reused over several corrections.

No. For the first 1–3 days the roots may feel unfamiliar, especially when sleeping. That usually passes quickly.
Styling, yes: use heat protection and keep hot tools off the bonds. Discuss colouring with your stylist. For pools and saunas, tie your hair up and wear a cap.
